BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded lower revenue of RM61.4 million for the current financial quarter ended 30 September 2022 as compared to immediate preceding financial quarter ended 30 June 2022 of RM78.2 million. The higher revenue in immediate preceding quarter was contributed by the TWM segment in respect of satisfaction of procurement agreement with Bank Negara Malaysia. Reduced staff cost recorded in current financial quarter as compared to immediate preceding quarter mainly due to payment for bonus recorded and additional accruals in the second quarter 2022.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded lower revenue of RM54.4 million for the current financial quarter ended 31 March 2022 as compared to immediate preceding financial quarter ended 31 December 2021 of RM66.2 million. The lower revenue mainly due to lower sales from TWM segment in which one of our major customers in China was closed temporarily for the festive season in 2022.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded lower revenue of RM46.5 million for the current financial quarter ended 30 September 2021 as compared to immediate preceding financial quarter ended 30 June 2021 of RM47.6 million. The lower revenue mainly due to lower sales from TWM division.

The lower profit before taxation of RM7.25 million and profit after taxation of RM4.25 million respectively was mainly due to lower revenue in current quarter in TWM division and investment holding division as compared to immediate preceding financial quarter. In addition, recognition of impairment loss on equipment and right of use asset in lifestyle and services division had also impact the profit negatively in current financial quarter.
The Star –
The commodity market is experiencing a major boom thanks to the massive stimulus by the world’s major economies. JAG Bhd, an electronic-waste management company stands to benefit from the rising copper prices and the booming electrical and electronics sector, says UOBKH. The company recently posted a record-high Q4FY20 profit on higher metal prices, and is optimistic on its 2021 outlook on the back of the continued uptrend in metal prices.
The Edge –
The total waste management company remains on track to turn a profit in the current financial year ending Dec 31, 2020 (FY2020), after slipping into the red with a net loss of RM11.92 million in FY2019. It posted a net profit of RM2.17 million in the second quarter ended June 30, 2020 (2QFY2020), marking a third straight quarterly profit, despite the Covid-19 crisis causing huge disruption across the globe. Last month, JAG announced that it would participate in the bidding process for the government’s Large Scale Solar (LSS) programme by Malaysian Electricity Industry to Attract RE Investment to develop up to 29MWac of LSS power plants in Malaysia.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded lower revenue of RM29.4 million for the current financial quarter ended 30 June 2020 compared to preceding financial quarter ended 31 March 2020 of RM37.4 million. This was mainly due to the Company had temporary halted the operations during the first phase of Movement Control Order (“MCO”) from 18 March 2020 to 21 April 2020.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2019, the directors’ remuneration was 1.21 million. It was fair compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 13.4 million and auditor’s remuneration of 125 thousands
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded higher revenue of RM37.4 million for the current quarter compared to preceding quarter ended 31 December 2019 of RM36.0 million. The increased in revenue was due to higher sales of gold, palladium and nickel. The Group recorded a PBT of RM1.5 million for the current quarter compared to preceding quarter of RM2.5 million. The fair value loss on investment had led to lower profit after tax generated.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded lower revenue of RM35.96 million for the current quarter ended 31 December 2019 compared to preceding quarter of RM44.89 million. The said decreased in revenue was mainly due to lower sales of gold, nickel, platinum, silver, and copper. The Group recorded profit before interest and tax of RM2.17 million for the current quarter compared to loss before interest and tax in preceding quarter of RM3.52 million.
