BURSA MALAYSIA –
The group recorded d a loss before tax of RM3.98 million for current financial year ended 30 June 2024. The lower losses were primarily due to unrealised gain from foreign currency translation amounting to RM 4.62 million. In near future, the Group plans to set-up sales gallery of watches in Malaysia, at the same time to improve its e-commerce platform to deliver better user experience and increase customer satisfaction. The Group aims to penetrate into new markets by establishing Halal Food & Beverage restaurants and Halal Convenience Stores in Hong Kong. Addtionally, the Group has entered into a Project Management Contract to serve as the Project Management Company for the proposed development of hotel and golf course in Pulau Langkawi.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group reported a loss after tax of RM7.72 million for the current financial period as compared to RM4.77 million loss in FYE 2021. Higher loss reported mainly due to higher operating expenses coupled with higher finance cost of RM3.52 million compared to RM0.58 million in FYE 2021. The Group intends to enhance its e-commerce platform, http://www.ecgoint.com to provide users with better overall experience, to include the latest version of operating system and to cope with higher traffic due to increase in users. The enhancement will also include new features such as 360-degree view of items. The Group intends to launch its new upgraded online trading platform to end users by end of 2024. Nevertheless, the Group plans to set up a physical store in the upcoming future.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a lower revenue of RM8.02 million in 1Q22 compared with RM10.22 million in 4Q21. Loss before tax was RM1.05 million in the current quarter as compared to loss before tax of RM2.92 million in 4Q21. The revenue were mainly contributed from trading and services operations segment in 1Q22 (RM6.02 million), that are from trading of precision instruments and income from cloud service.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a slightly lower revenue of RM10.22 million in 4Q21 compared with RM10.50 million in 3Q21. Loss before tax was RM2.92 million in the current quarter as compared to loss before tax of RM1.81 million in 3Q21. The losses in 4th quarter were mainly due to interest on loan and allowance for slow moving stocks taken up in current quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue was lower in 2Q20 (RM1.92 million) compared to 2Q19 (RM4.59 million). This is mainly due to lower revenue in electronics and security integration segment. It is because of the lesser project tender during COVID-19 outbreak and MCO. The Group recorded loss before tax of RM2.09 million in 2Q20 compared to loss before tax of RM0.37 million in 2Q19. The higher loss before tax was mainly due to lower sales revenue and gross profit generated during MCO, it resulting major local economic slow down.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue was higher in 1Q20 (RM3.60 million) compared to 1Q19 (RM2.04 million). This is mainly due to higher revenue in electronics and security integration segment offset against lower revenue in other segment. The Group recorded loss before tax of RM1.79 million in 1Q20 compared to RM1.14 million in 1Q19. The higher loss before tax was mainly due to lower sales revenue and gross profit generated in other operation segment.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2019, the directors’ remuneration was 0.47 million. It was slightly low compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 6.8 million and auditor’s remuneration of 166 thousands
