BURSA MALAYSIA –
Profit before tax of continuing operations in FY2023 increased by 52.0% to RM483.03 million. The increase was attributable to higher revenue recorded by the Property, Industry and Infrastructure divisions. The Group’s Construction Division will be focusing on the timely execution and completion of its outstanding order book of RM4.5 billion, providing the Group with stable earnings visibility over the next few years. The Industry Division’s performance is expected to continue improving in line with the resumption of construction activities, both domestically and abroad. The entry of large investments into MCKIP bode well for the long term growth prospects of the Port. Traffic volumes for the Toll operations have fully recovered to pre-pandemic levels and are expected to lead to an improvement in the division’s financial performance.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s pre-tax profit increased by 66.4% to RM147.8 million compared to RM88.8 million posted in the immediate preceding quarter, mainly due to the lower unrealised foreign exchange losses recorded in the current quarter (Q2: RM46.3 million; Q3: RM3.4 million).
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s pre-tax profit decreased slightly by 2.6% to RM88.8 million compared to RM91.2 million posted in the immediate preceding quarter, mainly due to the Group’s lower operating revenue (Q1: RM1,071.9 million; Q2: RM1,072.7 million) as well as the recognition of higher unrealised foreign exchange losses (Q2: RM46.3 million; Q1: RM45.1 million).
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s pre-tax profit increased by 31.7% to RM91.2 million compared to RM69.3 million posted in the immediate preceding quarter, mainly due to the impairment of inventories and toll concession assets in the immediate preceding quarter. However, profit in the current quarter was impacted by the unfavourable foreign currency movements.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s pre-tax profit decreased by 56.6% to RM68.8 million compared to RM158.6 million posted in the immediate preceding quarter, mainly due to the impairment of inventories, toll concession assets and unfavorable unrealised foreign currency movements.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s pre-tax profit decreased by 77.5% to RM158.6 million compared to RM705.6 million posted in the immediate preceding quarter, mainly due to the gains of RM639.4 million arising from the disposal of IJM Plantations Berhad and KISB in the second quarter. Excluding the one-off gains on disposal, the Group’s pre-tax profit increased by 139.7% mainly due to higher profit contributions from all the operating divisions following the resumption of economic activities in the third quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s pre-tax profit decreased by 32.2% to RM166.8 million compared to RM246.2 million posted in the immediate preceding quarter, mainly due to lower profit contributions from the Group’s Property development, Manufacturing and quarrying, and Infrastructure divisions, as a result of the re-imposition of a nationwide lockdown from 1 June 2021, which hampered the business activities of the Group.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s pre-tax profit decreased by 11.6% to RM246.2 million compared to RM278.5 million posted in the immediate preceding quarter mainly due to lower profit contributions from the Group’s Construction, Plantation and Infrastructure divisions.

BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s pre-tax profit decreased by only 3.5% to RM93.2 million compared to RM96.6 million posted in the immediate preceding quarter as the detrimental financial effects of the Covid-19 movement restrictions in the current quarter were mitigated by favourable currency movements which resulted in an unrealised foreign exchange gain of RM91.4 million for the current quarter.

BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s pre-tax profit decreased to RM96.6 million compared to RM163.6 million posted in the immediate preceding quarter mainly due to unfavourable currency movements which resulted in an unrealised foreign exchange loss of RM91.0 million for the current quarter as opposed to an unrealised foreign exchange gain of RM33.1 million in the immediate preceding quarter. Lower financial performance for the current quarter is also due to the Covid-19 movement restrictions imposed in Malaysia and India in mid March.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s pre-tax profit increased to RM163.6 million compared to RM114.2 million in preceding quarter mainly due to higher contributions from the Property Development and Plantation divisions. The Property Development division recorded higher margins coupled with an unrealised foreign exchange gain of RM15.9 million in current quarter as opposed to an unrealised foreign exchange loss of RM6.4 million in preceding quarter.
