BURSA MALAYSIA –
The group reports a PBT of RM421.1 million for financial year ended 31 December 2022 as compared to RM351.4 million in the FYE2021 in line with higher revenue recorded. Moving forward, the group will keep their projects simple and affordable, creating more value for buyers, and work to offer competitive sales packages to attract prospective buyers. They will also continue to strategise the timing and launching of new projects. The group also will continue to explore new avenues of growth while focusing on growing our existing portfolio of investment products, and upgrading our existing properties to keep valuations high.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
When comparing three months ended 30 September 2022 with the preceding three months ended 30 June 2022 group revenue increased by 3% to RM313.9 million from RM306.0 million in the preceding quarter as all divisions achieved higher revenue. However, Group pre-tax profit decreased by 9% to RM108.2 million from RM118.5 million mainly due to higher finance cost.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Group pre-tax profit decreased by 65% to RM104.1 million from RM297.9 million in the immediate preceding quarter. Group pre-tax profit in the immediate preceding quarter included a one-off gain of approximately RM193.4 million from the disposal of a joint venture company.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Group pre-tax profit increased by more than 100% to RM297.9 million from RM11.1 million due mainly to higher contribution from Property Development division and recognition of a one-off gain of approximately RM193.4 million from the disposal of a joint venture company.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Comparing three months ended 30 September 2020 with the preceding three months ended 30 June 2020, group revenue increased by 66% to RM279.8 million from RM168.5 million in the preceding quarter due to higher contributions from Property Investment-Retail, Property Investment-Commercial, Hotel and Investment divisions. Accordingly, the Group recorded a pre-tax profit of RM72.0 million profit compared to
pre-tax loss of RM7.9 million loss achieved in the preceding corresponding period.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Group revenue decreased by 42% to RM168.5 million from RM291.4 million in the preceding quarter due to lower contributions from all operating divisions. Revenue contributed by the Hotel division decrease as a result of lower average occupancy rates across all hotels in the Group.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
When comparing three months ended 31 March 2020 with the preceding three months ended 31 December 2019, group revenue decreased by 32% to RM291.4 million from RM427.5 million in the preceding quarter due to lower contributions from all operating divisions. Accordingly, Group pre-tax profit decreased by 53% to RM61.8 million from RM130.7 million with similar reasons.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2019, the directors’ remuneration was 23.3 million. It was slightly high compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 217 million and auditor’s remuneration of 1440 thousands
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Group revenue increased by 17% to RM427.5 million from RM364.4 million in the previous quarter due to higher contributions from all the operating divisions. However, Group pre-tax profit decreased by 2% to RM130.7 million from RM134.0 million in the previous quarter due to lower contribution from the Hotel division.
