    For the current quarter, the Group recorded revenue of RM4.837 million, an decrease of 33% as compared to the previous quarter. The decrease in revenue for current quarter was mainly due to the weaker demand for Automated Test Equipment (“ATE”). In terms of bottom line performance, the Group recorded PBT of RM31.640 million, an increase of 745% as compared to the previous quarter. The increase in PBT was mainly due to the one-off gain from disposal of a piece of leasehold land amounting to RM30.991 million.

The decrease in revenue for current quarter was mainly due to the weaker demand for Automated Test Equipment (“ATE”) as customers have postponed their capital expenditure (CAPEX) due to supply chain disruption. In terms of bottom line performance, the Group recorded PBT of RM3.745 million, an decrease of 28% as compared to the previous quarter. The lower profit recorded was in tandem with decrease in revenue and share of loss in associate.

For current quarter, smart devices sector remain as the main contributor to total revenue while automotive sector shown improvement as compared to previous quarter. The increase of PBT was mainly contributed by the fair value gain on other investment and share of profit in associate.
