BURSA MALAYSIA –
For the financial year ended 30 June 2024, the Group recorded a loss before tax of RM0.7 million compared to profit before tax of RM5.3 million in the previous financial year. The losses in the financial results were mainly due to lower gain on the changes in fair value of investment securities and investment properties. Moving Forward, The Group’s primary focus remains on the timely completion of its development projects and the monetization of its inventories. The Group will continue to pursue opportunities in its core business activities while maintaining a healthy cash flow position.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group reported loss before tax of RM4.4 million for current quarter (2Q FY2023) compared to the loss before tax of RM7.3 million in previous quarter (1Q FY2023). Lower operating loss before tax was mainly due to lower unrealised loss of fair value from the investment division for the current quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group reported loss before tax of RM7.3 million for current quarter (1Q FY2023) compared to the loss before tax of RM16.3 million in previous quarter (4Q FY2022). Lower operating loss before tax was mainly due to higher contribution from the commodity trading and increase in unrealised forex gain for the current quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded revenue of RM139.0 million for FY2022. The decrease of RM37.3 million in revenue (FY2021: RM176.3 million) was due to lower commodity trading volume which contributed RM122.7 million. The remaining revenue of RM16.3 million was substantially contributed by the hospitality division, real estate, financial investments and oil palm plantation. The Group therefore remains cautiously optimistic on the current market recovery due to the unpredictable external factors such as the war in Ukraine, disruption of global supply chain and interest rate hike

The Group reported loss before tax of RM12.9 million for current quarter (4Q FY2022) compared to the loss before tax of RM9.7 million in previous quarter (3Q FY2022). Higher operating loss before tax was mainly due to increase in unrealised loss of fair value from investment for the current quarter.

Loss before tax for current quarter (1Q FY2022) was RM10.7 million as compared to the profit before tax of RM2.1 million recorded in the previous quarter (4Q FY2021). The variance of RM12.8 million was mainly due to gain on disposal of financial assets posted in the previous quarter.

Profit before tax for current quarter (4Q FY2021) was RM3.2 million as compared to the profit before tax of RM4.9 million recorded in the previous quarter (3Q FY2021). The variance of RM1.7 million was mainly due to higher expenditure from the property division in the current quarter.

Loss before tax for current quarter (1Q FY2021) was RM2.2 million as compared to the profit before tax of RM16.8 million recorded in the previous quarter (4Q FY2020). The variance of RM19.0 million was mainly due to the fair value gain of financial assets posted in the previous quarter.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2020, the directors’ remuneration was 2.96 million. It was fair compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 9.5 million and auditor’s remuneration of 411 thousands

The Group reported loss before taxation of RM15.9 million for the quarter ended 30 June 2020, as compared to the loss of RM44.7 million recorded in the previous quarter ended 31 March 2020. The losses incurred for the previous quarter was due to decline in investment value as a result of market correction.
