BURSA MALAYSIA –
Profit Before Tax decreased to RM16.3 million from RM37.5 million in FY2022. The significant reduction in the profit for FY2023 was due to the overall weak environment which the Group operates in. With the expansion of our warehouses in Penang, we expect a stronger presence in the Northern region, attracting new business prospects. To strengthen our operational framework, we will look into leveraging the latest technology and automation that meets the needs of our
customers.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Revenue for FY2022 amounted to RM930.4 million, an increase of 10.4% from Continuing Operations recorded during FY2021. Profit before taxation was RM37.5 million, up by 30.1% from Continuing Operations recorded during FY2021 mainly due to the higher volumes handled by our Total Logistics Services segment and higher export volumes arising from improved demands from our customers in Procurement Logistics Services. The Company continues to expand in automation and digitalisation, with the enhancement of our service offerings and customer access platforms. We are glad that we can leverage on the expertise of our parent company, CJ Logistics Corporation, as we embrace digital technologies, artificial intelligence and automation. This has strengthened our integrated logistics operations and enabled us to improve customer and supply-chain communications and connectivity. We will continue to invest in technological advancements to remain at the forefront of the logistics industry in Malaysia
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group reported revenue and pre-tax profit of RM230.157 million and RM8.441 million respectively, compared to revenue and pre-tax profit of RM252.939 million and RM10.315 million respectively for the preceding quarter. For the Total Logistics Services segment, revenue was lower mainly due to the decline in market freight rates recorded by the Freight Forwarding operation, as well as a temporary plant. For the Procurement Logistics segment, revenue was lower mainly due to the reduction in export revenue
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group reported revenue and pre-tax profit of RM252.939 million and RM10.315 million respectively, compared to revenue and pre-tax profit of RM242.789 million and RM13.341 million respectively for the preceding quarter. The increase in revenue for Continuing Operations was mainly due to the higher activities in Procurement Logistics Services segment. Pre-tax profit was lower despite the higher revenue mainly due to the higher operation costs from certain contracts in Total Logistics Services segment.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group reported revenue and pre-tax profit of RM242.789 million and RM13.341 million respectively, compared to revenue and pre-tax profit of RM204.171 million and RM9.555 million respectively for the preceding quarter. The increase in revenue and pre-tax profit for Continuing Operations was mainly due to the higher activities in Total Logistics Services segment and Procurement Logistics Services segment.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group reported revenue and pre-tax profit of RM204.171 million and RM9.555 million respectively, compared to revenue and pre-tax loss of RM187.824 million and RM13.533 million respectively for the preceding quarter. The increase in revenue and pre-tax profit for Continuing Operations was mainly due to the higher activities in Total Logistics Services segment.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group reported revenue and pre-tax loss of RM243.177 million and RM4.613 million respectively in the current quarter compared to revenue and pre-tax loss of RM234.352 million and RM1.857 million respectively for the preceding quarter. The increase in revenue for Continuing Operation was mainly due to higher activities in Total Logistics Services operation and Procuremennt Logistics Services operation. The lower pre-tax profit was mainly due to lower margins from certain Total Logistics operations particularly the oil logistics operation.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group reported revenue and pre-tax loss of RM234.352 million and RM1.857 million respectively, compared to revenue and pre-tax loss of RM186.371 million and RM0.449 million respectively for the preceding quarter. The increase in revenue were mainly due to higher activities in Total Logistics Services segment and Procurement Logistics Services segment. However, the higher pre-tax loss was mainly due to lower margins from certain Total Logistics operations and foreign exchange loss from CJ Korea Express Malaysia Sdn. Bhd.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
For the financial quarter ended 30 September 2020, the Group reported revenue and pre-tax profit of RM208.946 million and RM1.373 million respectively, compared to revenue and pre-tax loss of RM130.966 million and RM2.432 million respectively for the preceding quarter. The increase in revenue and pre-tax profit were mainly due to the contribution from CJ Korea Express Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. as well as overall
improved performance in the Group’s operation during the financial quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group reported revenue and pre-tax loss of RM130.966 million and RM2.432 million respectively, compared to revenue and pre-tax loss of RM109.424 million and RM3.463 million respectively for the preceding quarter. The increase in revenue was mainly attributable to the higher activities in Procurement Logistics Services segment. However, the pre-tax loss incurred during the quarter was mainly due to the increased loss as a result of the expansion of the courier operation during the financial quarter
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group reported revenue and LBT of RM109.424 million and RM3.463 million respectively for the current quarter ended 31 March 2020, compared to revenue and PBT of RM111.920 million and RM0.276 million respectively in preceding quarter. The decrease in revenue was due to the lower activities in Procurement Logistics Services segment due to the effect of the MCO. The LBT was due to the ongoing costs as a result of the expansion of the courier operation as well as lower activities from Procurement Logistics Services.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2019, the directors’ remuneration was 5.1 million. It was slightly high compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 70.6 million and auditor’s remuneration of 274 thousands
