BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s recorded a profit before taxation of RM1.15 million in FYE 2023 as compared to RM0.34 million in FYE 2022. The increase in profit before taxation derived mainly due to increase in better operating cost control offset by the provision for decrease in fair value of quoted investment. CEPCO will continue to be vigilant on its capital expenditure and cash conservation measures in its business and will focus on securing sales in both local and overseas market.

The Group’s recorded a profit before taxation of RM0.51 million in FY2022 as compared to a loss before taxation of RM16.82 million in FY2021. The profit before taxation derived mainly due to an increase in revenue and better operating cost control. Moving Forward, CEPCO will continue to be vigilant on its capital expenditure, and cash conservation measures in its business and will focus on securing sales in both local and overseas markets.

BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s loss before taxation decreased by 6.89% from RM18.06 million in FYE 2020 to RM16.82 million in FYE 2021. The loss was mainly due to slow take-off from secured orders and far more damaging with the nationwide mandatory business shutdown or under the MCO to battle the COVID-19 pandemic. The Group is constantly undertaking continuous enhancements in production efficiencies, overhead and production cost management. The Group expands its product
offerings to the overseas market which is expected to generate better sales and profitability.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2020, the directors’ remuneration was 0.69 million. It was slightly low compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 17.8 million and auditor’s remuneration of 173 thousands
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Sales were lower in the current quarter compared with the preceding quarter in FY 2Q2020 mainly due to reduced in both export and local sales in current quarter as the result of the resent outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic and the Movement Control Order (MCO) imposed by the Malaysian Goverment.
