BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group registered a lower LBT of RM2.9 million in FYE 2022 as compared to a LBT of RM126.8 million in FYE 2021. The loss in FYE 2022 was due to increased cost of raw materials and higher marketing expenses. In FYE 2021, the Group had impairment loss on the Myanmar operating unit of RM95.8 million. Moving Forward, In Malaysia the Group focuses its sales effort on fast moving consumer products where high quality carton boxes are consistent in demand. The Group also sells its products to food and beverages, furniture, edible oil and other industries. The Group in Vietnam focuses its attention on fast moving consumer products, electronic & electrical, furniture and footwear which is in high demand and the quality standards are significantly higher. While, the entity in Myanmar focuses its attention on fast moving consumer products such as food and beverages and footwear which has a high demand and the quality standards expected are significantly higher.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded an increase in gross profit from RM13.8 million in Q2, 2022 to RM16.8 million in Q3, 2022 due to a one-off inventories write off in Q2, 2022. Due to the aforesaid reason, the Group reported a loss before taxation of RM0.8 million in Q3, 2022 as opposed to a loss before taxation of RM2.9 million in Q2, 2022.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Despite the higher revenue, the Group recorded a decrease in gross profit from RM16.3 million in Q1, 2022 to
RM13.8 million in Q2, 2022 due to higher cost of production of RM2.5 million in Q2, 2022. Due to the aforesaid reason, the Group reported a loss before taxation of RM2.9 million in Q2, 2022 as opposed to a profit before taxation of RM1.2 million in Q1, 2022.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The decrease in revenue was mainly attributable to lower sales volume registered by the Malaysia and Vietnam plants as a result of lockdowns due to the Covid-19 pandemic which had caused disruptions to the business operations.The Group’s recorded a loss before taxation of RM11.5 million in Q3, 2021 as opposed to profit before taxation of RM0.6 million in Q2, 2021. This was mainly due to lower gross profit
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s net revenue decreased to RM181.9 million from RM182.5 million in the immediate preceeding quarter. The decrease in revenue was mainly attributable to lower sales volume registered by the Malaysia and Vietnam operations as a result of lockdowns due to the Covid-19 pandemic which had caused disruptions to their business operations.Due to the aforesaid reason, the Group’s gross profit decreased from RM19.3 million in the immediate preceding quarter to RM16.3 million in Q2, 2021. The Group’s profit before taxation decreased to RM0.6 million in Q2, 2021 from RM4.6 million in Q1, 2021. This was mainly due to lower gross profit as stated.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s net revenue decreased to RM182.5 million from RM187.1 million in the immediate preceding quarter. The decrease in revenue was mainly attributable to the Vietnam operations, which recorded lower sales after the Vietnamese new year celebrations. The Group’s profit before taxation decreased to RM4.6 million in Q1, 2021 from RM7.3 million in Q4, 2020.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Despite the decrease in Group’s revenue due to decrease in sales demand
due to the global outbreak of Covid-19, the Group’s gross profit improved from RM14.2 million in the immediate preceeding quarter to RM14.4 million in Q2, 2020. This was attributable to improvement in cost management.

The Group’s net revenue decreased to RM147.1 million from RM170.1 million in the immediate preceding quarter. The decrease in revenue was mainly attributable to the Vietnam operations, which recorded lower sales after the Vietnamese new year celebrations. The decrease was also due to MCO imposed by the Malaysian Government.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2019, the directors’ remuneration was 2.6 million. It was fair compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 72.7 million and auditor’s remuneration of 236 thousands
