BURSA MALAYSIA –
The group’s achieve PBT of RM47.5 million for FY2022 as compared to RM23.4 million in the previous year. The improvement in PBT was contributed mainly by Property segment, which generated 55% higher revenue (FY2022: RM72.0 million, FY2021: RM46.3 million) and 328% jump in PBT (FY2022: RM29.1 million, FY2021: RM6.8 million) for the year under review. Looking Forward, the Group is expected to continue battling with headwinds from various areas, such as domestic economic growth moderation, global recessionary risk, geopolitical tensions, CPO price volatility, and intensifying inflationary pressures which may lead to escalating material and labour costs as well as interest rate hikes that may hamper demand for property launches.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Profit before taxation for the current quarter of RM11.4 million was higher than the preceding quarter of RM10.5 million by RM0.9 million or 9%, mainly due to higher revenue but partially offset by lower gross profit margin and fair value loss on biological assets, as a result of decline in CPO price.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The higher revenue in the current quarter as compared to the preceding quarter was mainly attributable to higher revenue recognition from the current development (Bromelia), as well as higher FFB harvested and higher selling price of FFB as a result of higher CPO price. The increase in profit before taxation in the current quarter by 52% was in line with the increase in revenue recorded in the current quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The lower revenue in the current quarter as compared to the preceding quarter was mainly attributable to lower sales of completed units, slower progress from the current development (Bromelia), as well as lower FFB harvested, but partly compensated by higher selling price of FFB as a result of higher CPO price. The decrease in profit before taxation by 41.4% in the current quarter was mainly due to lower revenue recorded, partially offset by higher gross profit margin and lower operating expenses.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The higher revenue in the current quarter as compared to preceding quarter was mainly attributable to higher sales of completed units, increased revenue recognition from the current development (Bromelia), as well as higher CPO price. The increase in profit before taxation by 46.9% in the current quarter was in line with the increase in revenue recorded in the current quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The profit before tax reduced 4.8% in current quarter which was in line with the decrease of 29.1% in revenue compared to immediate preceding quarter. This is due to lower sales of completed property units in current quarter offset by higher average selling price of fresh fruit bunches (“FFB”) and higher FFB harvested in current quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded revenue and PBT at RM8.750 million and RM2.001 million respectively for current quarter as compared to revenue and PBT of RM23.717 million and RM7.462 million respectively in the preceding quarter. The profit before tax reduced in current quarter which is in line with the decrease in revenue recorded in current quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s profit before tax was RM7.462 million for current quarter ended 31 December 2019 as compared to profit before tax of RM4.286 million in preceding quarter. The grew in profit before tax is in line with the increase in revenue.
