BURSA MALAYSIA –
Despite the rise in revenue, our Group’s PBT witnessed a decline of 27.7%, dropping from RM39.0 million in FY 2022 to RM28.2 million in FY 2023. This reduction in PBT was primarily attributed to specific non-recurring transactions that occurred in the previous financial year. These transactions included a gain of RM9.6 million arising from the disposal of a foreign subsidiary in Singapore and the waiver of RM4.4 million debts. Our Group is confident that we can adapt to the changing landscape through our prudent management. We are constantly undertaking continuous enhancements in production efficiencies, overheads and production cost management.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Revenue for the current financial quarter increased by 32.1% as compared to the immediate preceding financial quarter. The increase in the Group’s revenue was mainly due to the increase in the sales from the manufacturing, formulation and sales of resin, chemicals and building materials segment and additional dividend income received from the quoted investments during the current financial quarter. Profit before taxation increased by 164.4% as compared to the immediate preceding financial quarter as a result of the dividend received from quoted investments during the current financial quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Profit before taxation decreased by 53.1% as compared to the immediate preceding financial quarter as a result of the additional dividend received from quoted investments in the corresponding quarter of the preceding year.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s profit before taxation was recorded at RM5.3 million for the current quarter as compared to RM3.5 million in the corresponding quarter of the preceding year mainly due to the dividend income received during the quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The increase in the sales reported was mainly from the manufacturing, formulation and sales of resin, chemicals and building materials segment. Profit before taxation increased by 101.9% as compared to the immediate preceding financial quarter mainly due to gain on disposal of a foreign subsidiary reported in the investment holding and property letting segment.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Revenue for the current quarter increased by 8.2% as compared to the immediate preceding financial quarter. The revenue growth was due to improvement in contract work, pipe laying and rehabilitation segment as well as consistent return from investment holding activities. Profit before taxation decrease by 14.9% as compared to the immediate preceding financial quarter due to continued increase of the cost of materials.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Profit before taxation recorded of RM9.43 million or increase by 166.5% as compared to the immediate preceding financial quarter due to the dividend income received from quoted investments.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Profit before taxation decreased by 49.0% as compared to the immediate preceding financial quarter due to increase of cost of material from the manufacturing, formulation and sales of resin, chemicals and building materials segment as well as contract work, pipe laying and rehabilitation segment.

Revenue for the current quarter was RM27.585 million, compared to RM20.657 million in the preceding quarter which was due to increase in sales from manufacturing, formulation and sales of resin, chemicals and building materials segment. Profit before taxation was RM6.104 million as compared to loss before taxation of RM1.051 million in preceding quarter was due to improvement in cost control, production efficiency and the dividend income received from quoted investments.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2020, the directors’ remuneration was 1.14 million. It was fair compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 11.8 million and auditor’s remuneration of 140 thousands

Revenue for the current quarter decreased by 31.7% as compared to the preceding financial quarter which was due to decrease in manufacturing, formulation and sales of resin chemicals and Contract work, pipe laying and rehabilitation segments. Profit before taxation decreased by 144.9% compared to the preceding financial quarter due to fair value changes of equity investments and goodwill impairment.

Revenue for the current quarter increased by 0.7% as compared to the immediate preceding financial quarter which was due to improvement in cost control and production efficiency in manufacturing, formulation and sales of resin, chemicals and building materials segment
