BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Trust registered a profit after taxation of RM5.3 million, compared to RM2.7 million reported a year earlier. The profit after taxation was after the reversal of provision for deferred taxation of RM0.8 million arising from the revaluation loss of the assets under the portfolio. Amidst widening imbalance between supply and demand, the overall office occupancy and rental rates will continue to be subjected to downward pressures. Although more economic sectors and businesses are allowed to reopen, the challenges on office market remained as companies, especially MNCs, continue to re-evaluate their future workplace strategies. We will remain focused on delivering value to our Unitholders by adopting appropriate business strategies to sustain our financial performance.
