BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s PBT improved 150.9% to RM172.9 million in FY2023 from RM68.9 million in the previous financial year, attributed to the fair value gains registered by the property investment and management services segment, and increased profit contribution from the property development segment. As part of our expansion strategy, we are pursuing a land acquisition in Penang in collaboration with our joint development partner for a total sum of RM130.0 million. Furthermore, we will continue to expand our workers’ dormitories to meet the increasing requirements of our industrial park clientele.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a higher profit before tax by 60%, profit after tax by 95% and profit attributable to owners of the Company by 95% mainly due to the higher revenue, gain on disposal of property and share of profit from the joint venture, notwithstanding the fair value losses on investment properties.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded lower profit before tax, profit after tax and profit attributable to owners of the Company of RM11.02 million, RM7.62 million and RM7.21 million respectively for the current quarter mainly due to the lower profit contributions across the segments, including the absence of fair value gains on investment properties.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded higher profit before tax by 36%, profit after tax and profit attributable to owners of the Company mainly due to the higher contributions from construction and property development segments, notwithstanding the lower fair value gains on investment properties.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group reported lower revenue by 44% as a result of the MCO. There were reduced contribution from the property development segment, and losses recorded by the construction and engineering segments. In compliance with the MCO, the Group experienced a temporary disruption to activity in the property development, construction and engineering segments.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 1.4.2019 – 31.3.2020, the directors’ remuneration was 9.34 million. It was high compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 45.6 million and auditor’s remuneration of 385 thousands
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue and gross profit decreased by RM7.99 million and RM6.70 million respectively mainly due to the decrease in construction services revenue. There was temporary disruption to the Group’s progression in stage of completion of on-going construction projects as a result of the MCO.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue was RM106.08 million and PBT was RM20.67 million for current quarter as compared to revenue of RM81.81 million and PBT of RM28.80 million in preceding quarter. The increase in revenue mainly due to the increase in construction services revenue as a result of progression in stage of completion of on-going construction projects. The lower profit before tax, profit after tax and profit attributable to owners of the Company mainly due to the higher listing expenses incurred and lower share of profit from the joint venture.
