    Group revenue increased by RM1,898.7 million or 65% compared to the preceding quarter, mainly due to higher sales volume by 34% following improvement in demand arising from the lifting of travel restrictions during RMCO and increase in average selling prices by 23%.

    PBT for the quarter was recorded at RM1.2 million compared to LBT of RM18.4 million in the preceding quarter contributed by lower operating expenses following decrease in advertising and promotion activities. This was offset by lower margins mainly from Commercial segment by RM76.4 million due to lower sales volume and average selling prices.

The decrease in volume was mainy due to decrease in demand following the implementation of MCO. LBT of RM18.4 million was recorded compared to a PBT of RM190.6 million in preceding quarter, a decrease of RM209.0 million mainly due to lower Retail and Commercial segments gross profit of RM294.8 million in line with declining MOPS prices trend.
