BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a 46.5% decrease in net loss of RM16.02 million, as compared to a net loss of RM34.5 million in FYE 2022. The drastic decrease net losses were mainly reduction from administrative expenses and fair value loss on marketable securities. The Group has completed renounceable right issue on 6 December 2021, which had raised a total of
RM67.187million. This proceed are intended to expand its automotive business by venturing into the sale of luxury and premium EVs. This is aimed at tapping into a new market segment comprising mainly high – income consumers and capitalise on the rise in environmental awareness among consumers. The Group is in the midst to develop its luxury car rental business, which is complementing to its existing automobile business. The Group also announced on its intention to venture into Plantation through Smart Farming.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The increase of revenue of RM2.01 million as compared to last quarter was contributed solely by the Automotive Division. Despite, the Group suffered a higher loss before taxation of RM 7.87 million as compared to a pre-tax loss of RM 5.63 million in previous quarter. The higher loss was mainly attributed by the increase of the loss in fair value in other investments.

The Group suffered a lower loss before taxation of RM 5.63 million as compared to a pretax loss of RM 8.68 million in previous quarter. The lower loss was mainly attributed by the reduction of the loss in fair value in other investments in this quarter as compared to previous quarter.

The Group suffered a loss before taxation of RM 19.67 million as compared to a pre-tax profit of RM 2.61 million in previous quarter. The loss was mainly attributed by the loss in fair value in other investments as well as realised loss on disposal of some quoted investments as compared to fair value gain in quoted investments in previous quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group managed to register a profit before taxation as compared to previous quarter and it was mainly attributed by the gain in fair value in other investments as compared to fair value loss in quoted investments in last quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a 475.98% increase in net loss of RM42.8 million, as compared to a net loss of RM7.4 million in FYE 2020. The drastic increased net loss were mainly attributed to material litigation cost, corporate exercises expenses and increase of fair value loss on marketable securities. This sustained growth underpins our prospects for the coming years, and we aim to capture the opportunities in the local market. The Group has taken various initiatives to improve our financial performance and we expect growth to stem from the development of Princess Heights project and Mydin hypermarket, venturing into luxury car rental business and venturing in sales of luxury and premium EV
The Star –
The market reacted positively to the latest financial results from Pemaju Industries Bhd and its shares jumped over 36% in early trade Thursday. For the second quarter ended Dec 31, 2020, Permaju returned to the black with a net profit of RM10.97mil. Two weeks ago, Permaju entered into a conditional share sale agreement with Chai Kim Chong to acquire 600,000 ordinary shares in Hardie Development Sdn Bhd representing 30% equity interest for RM21.8mil.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 1.7.2019 – 30.6.2020, the directors’ remuneration was 0.85 million. It was fair compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 4.9 million and auditor’s remuneration of 145 thousands
The Edge –
Permaju Industries Bhd has teamed up with Vsolar Group Bhd, in a joint venture agreement, for a RM217 million large-scale solar power project in Seremban. The project consists of terms including a concession period under a power purchase agreement with Tenaga Nasional Bhd, spanning 21 years starting from the commercial operation date by Dec 31, 2023.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s current quarter revenue of RM5.89 million against the preceding quarter of RM14.33 million, was due to decrease in revenue derived from Automotive Division and from Property Division. The Group’s LBT for the current quarter of RM3.40 million was mainly attributed to the LBT of Automobile Division of RM0.11 million and LBT of Property Development Division of RM1.70 million. Comparatively, in the preceding quarter the LBT of RM3.0 million was mainly attributed to the LBT of Automobile Division of RM0.84 million and LBT of Property Development Division of RM2.52 million.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s current quarter revenue of RM14.33 million against the preceding quarter revenue of RM18.55 million, was due to decrease in revenue derived from Automotive Division and increase in revenue from Property Division. In the Automotive Division for current quarter, the vehicles sales decreased as compared to the previous quarter. While for Property Development Division 13 residential units were sold during current quarter compared to none in previous quarter
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 1.1.2018 – 30.6.2019, the directors’ remuneration was 1.04 million. It was slightly low compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 9.1 million and auditor’s remuneration of 250 thousands
