BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group reported lower losses with a loss before taxation of RM5.64 million in FY2022 compared to the loss before taxation of RM 15.59 million in FY2021 due to substantial impairment of inventory losses due to the flood that occurred on 18th and 19th December 2021. The Group foresee a reduction in volume but the impact on their automotive division is minimal as the Company managed to secure contracts for new models and new clients to cushion this impact. Furthermore, The Group has begun to trade recycled products starting with aluminium and carbon products. The business prospect for the recycling division remains positive based on the research published by 6Wresearch, Malaysia’s metal scrap recycling market is projected to grow at a CAGR of 5.6% during the 2022-2028 period.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded revenue of RM17.93 million in the current quarter compared with the immediate previous quarter of RM15.12 million, an increase of RM2.80 million. The Group registered a lower loss before taxation of RM0.11 million in the current period as compared with an immediate preceding period loss of RM1.62 million. The lower losses were mainly attributable to higher revenue to cover operation costs. Nevertheless, the performance for the period was affected by the rise in raw material prices and shipping costs and was further affected by a less favourable currency that increase the import cost.

The Group registered a higher loss before taxation of RM1.62 million in the current period as compared with an immediate preceding period loss of RM1.57 million. The losses made were attributed to the rise in raw material prices and shipping costs and were further affected by a less favourable currency that increase the import cost. The losses for the period were mitigated with the receipt of interim insurance claims of RM669,000

The Group registered a lower loss before taxation of RM1.57 million in the current period as compared with an immediate preceding period loss of RM9.90 million. Higher losses in the immediate preceding period were mainly due to impairment of inventories resulting from the flood that occurred on the 18th and 19th of December 2021

The Group revenue has decreased by RM 4.689 million due to decreased in sales performance for both Automotive and Commercial Sectors in the quarter caused by re-imposition of FMCO in Jun’21 till 15 Aug’21 with minimum sales but essential cost remains in place. The Group registered a loss before tax of RM 2.132 million compared with immediate preceding quarter loss of RM 1.072 million.

The Group revenue has decreased by RM 3.072million due to decreased in sales performance for both Automotive Sector and Commercial Sector in the quarter. The Group registered a loss before tax in current quarter of RM 1.765mil compared with immediate preceding quarter loss of RM 2.411million mainly due to sales recognition of higher margin products and lesser expenses during lockdown and MCO Period.

The Group revenue has decreased from RM14.73 million to RM8.57 million for current quarter due to decreased in sales for both Automotive Sector and Commercial Sector. The Group registered a loss before tax in current quarter of RM 2.411mil compared with preceding quarter profit of RM 3.809 million mainly due to recognition of other income from settlement of material litigation.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2019, the directors’ remuneration was 0.79 million. It was fair compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 10.7 million and auditor’s remuneration of 85 thousands
