The extrusion and fabrication segment’s sales for the current quarter was lower at RM51.2m compared to RM53.6m in the preceeding quarter. The lower sales was due to the shorter working days in the MCO period in March. Despite the lower sales operating profits shot up RM3.2m compared to RM2.3m. As mentioned this was achieved on the back of cost cutting and gain from the higher exchange rate from US dollor.
