BURSA MALAYSIA –
Profit before taxation (“PBT”) for FYE 2022 was RM3.51 million or 39.1% lower than the PBT of RM5.76 million in FYE 2021 despite higher other income from the gain on disposal of assets. This was due to lower revenue and lower gross profit margin in particular, for the Trading operation and higher operating costs. Going forward, the Group will continue to invest in E-Commerce platform with the aim of capturing new opportunities in the digital customer segment especially among the younger population. Using social media as a marketing tool to market the products, the group hope to improve brand awareness among their existing and potential retail consumers.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Gross profit decreased by 24.8% in line with the lower revenue. However, profit after tax increased by 3,686.9% due to the higher other operating income as the Group recognized a gain on disposal of asset held for sale of RM7.69 million in the current quarter under review.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Gross profit was 26.7% higher on the back of a 22.9% increase in revenue. However, net profit after tax was 48.7% lower due to the lower other operating income as the Group recognised a gain on disposal of asset of RM0.23 million in the immediate preceding quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Net profit decreased by 76.6% to RM0.24 million from RM1.02 million in the preceding quarter due to lower revenue, gross profit margin and lower other operating income. Compared to the immediate preceding quarter, revenue for the trading operation contracted by 9.8% due to lower orders from its independent dealers and chain stores. Meanwhile, customer orders for OEM Trading operation increased by 13.8% compared to the preceding quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Net profit increased by 124.5% to RM1.37 million from RM0.61 million in the preceding quarter due to increase gross profit from higher revenue and higher other operating income from recognition of gain on sale of assets and reversal of impairment on property, plant and equipment no longer required.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The group reported PBT and PAT of RM2.433 million and RM2.312 million respectively was 53.3% and 45.6% higher in the current quarter compared to preceding quarter due to higher other operating income recorded from gain on sales on completion of the disposal of asset held for sale and a motor vehicle.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded PBT and PAT of RM1.587 million and RM1.588 million respectively for the quarter under review compared to a LBT and LAT of RM4.706 million and RM4.720 million respectively in the immediate preceding quarter. The losses incurred in the immediate preceding quarter was due to impairments made and costs incurred arising from the downsizing of the manufacturing operation.

JF Apex Research expects Milux Corp Bhd to be among the stocks to watch on Tuesday. Milux has proposed a bonus issue of up to 176.29 million shares on the basis of three bonus shares for every one share held.

Group revenue for the quarter under review increased by 5.9% to RM14.28 million from RM13.48 million in the immediate preceding quarter The higher revenue for the quarter under review compared to the immediate preceding quarter was due to higher contribution from the trading operation.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Group revenue for the current quarter under review at RM13.48 million was 15.6% lower than that of the immediate preceding quarter’s revenue of RM15.97 million. The lower revenue for the quarter under review was due mainly to lower contribution from the manufacturing operation. The manufacturing operation’s sales decreased by 42.5% during the quarter to RM2.86 million compared to RM4.98 million in the immediate preceding quarter due to lower export and local OEM sales.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2019, the directors’ remuneration was 1.06 million. It was fair compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 7.2 million and auditor’s remuneration of 111 thousands
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Group revenue for the current quarter increased by 6.4% to RM15.97 million from RM15.01 million in the preceding quarter. The higher revenue was due to higher sales registered by the trading operation. The Group recorded LBT of RM1.269 million for the quarter compared to a LBT of RM1.574 million in the preceding quarter.
