BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group is reporting a loss after tax of RM7.15 million in FYE2022 as compared to a loss after tax of RM23.49 million in the financial year ended 31 December 2021 (“FY2021”). The lower losses incurred for the current year as compared to the previous year were due to the lower impairment loss of trade receivable and bad debt written off but mitigated by written off of forfeited deposit. Going forward, the Group opines that both property and construction sectors will be the key driver of growth for the Group’s earnings in 2023.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a loss before tax of RM0.30 million on revenue RM3.92 million, compared to a loss before tax of RM0.97 million and revenue of RM0.87 million reported in the preceding quarter. The higher revenue and lower loss due to commencement of new construction contract for Centro @ JBCC project located at Johor Bahru and trading of building material activities.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a loss before tax of RM0.97 million on revenue RM0.87 million, compared to a loss before tax of RM1.87 million and revenue of RM2 thousand reported in the preceding quarter. The higher revenue and lower loss due to commencement of new construction contract for Centro @ JBCC project located at Johor Bahru.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a loss before tax of RM1.87 million on revenue RM2,000, compared to a loss before tax of RM22.94 million and revenue of RM6.26 million reported in the preceding quarter. The lower revenue was mainly the result of a delay in the new construction contract for Centro @ JBCC project in Johor Bahru.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group pre-tax loss increased by RM20.07 million (700%) as compared to LBT of RM2.87 million in the previous quarter of 2021. Higher pre-tax loss was mainly due to an impairment loss of receivables and bad debt written-off amounting to RM23.61 million. Excluding this impairment loss of receivable and bad debt written-off, the Group recorded a pre-tax profit of RM0.67 million in 4Q2021. The Group’s operations had been adversely affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, resulted in slow debt collection and impairment loss of receivables and bad debt.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Revenue increased by RM0.03 million (+105.2%) while pre-tax loss increased by RM1.16 million (-67.4%) as compared to the previous quarter. The increase in pre-tax loss was mainly due to the provision of doubtful debts.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The group revenue decreased by RM0.14 million (-124.8%) while pretax loss increased by RM0.31 million (+22.1%) in the current quarter as compared to the previous quarter.The increase in pretax loss in the current quarter was due to the higher operating expenses and loss on disposal of property, plant and equipment

For the current quarter, revenue decreased by RM0.25 million (17.2%) while pretax loss increased by RM0.23 million (24.0%) as compared to the previous quarter.The increase in pretax loss was due to the decrease in revenue and an increase in operating expenses.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
For the current financial quarter, revenue decreased by RM1.48 million (-50.7%) while pretax loss decreased by RM0.05 million (5.0%) as compared to the previous quarter. In spite of lower revenue, pretax loss has decreased due to a reduction in operating overheads and interest expense.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Revenue decreased by RM1.78 million (-37.8%) while pretax loss decreased by RM3.16 million (-75.8%) as compared to the previous quarter. The decrease in revenue was because there was no construction project in the current quarter since the completion of its last project in 2019. The reduction in pretax loss was because in the previous quarter the profitability was adversely impacted by the reversal of prior years’ profit due to the increase in construction cost, higher impairment loss on trade debtors and higher interest expenses.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2019, the directors’ remuneration was 0.47 million. It was fair compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 1.5 million and auditor’s remuneration of 77 thousands
BURSA MALAYSIA –
For the current quarter, the Group recorded a revenue of RM4.71 million and LBT of RM4.17 million as compared to RM14.21 million and PBT of RM0.51 million in previous quarter. The main contributor to the decrease in revenue is the completion of constuction works at the Ampang project. The decrease in pretax profit was due to the lower revenue and the various factors as mentioned in the review of the Construction Segment.
