BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue of RM62.67 million for the current financial year ended 30 June 2024 was higher than last year’s RM50.40 million. This was mainly due to higher crop sales on account of higher tonnage harvested. Rental, interest and dividend income were also higher as compared to a year ago. The Group ended the current financial year with after tax profit of RM40.50 million which was lower than last year’s after tax profit of RM43.05 million despite higher revenue. This was mainly due to lower foreign exchange gain, no sale of investment in precious metal in the current year and lower gain from the revaluation of investment properties. Going forward, the Group expects Fresh Fruit Bunches (“FFB”) production to be higher than the financial year ended 30 June 2024.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group reported a pre-tax loss of RM9.71 million which was lower than the immediate preceding quarter’s RM10.57 million. This was mainly due to the foreign exchange loss of RM3.46 million for the current quarter was lower the immediate preceeding quarter’s loss of RM12.46 million. Share of the associates’ loss of RM4.56 million for the current quarter was lower than the immediate preceding quarter’s loss of RM8.42 million.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue of RM4.24 million was lower than the immediate preceding quarter’s RM6.27 million. This was mainly due to lower crop sales on account of the decrease in FFB production. Rental income for the current quarter was lower than the immediate preceding quarter as the tenancy agreement of the London property had expired. Dividend income of RM47,000 was received during the immediate preceding quarter while there was none for the current quarter.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2020, the directors’ remuneration was 2.98 million. It was high compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 3.6 million and auditor’s remuneration of 162 thousands
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue of RM12.09 million for the current quarter was higher than the preceding quarter’s RM4.27 million. This was mainly contributed by higher dividend income of RM7.38 million. The Group posted a pre-tax profit of RM15.62 million for the current quarter while the preceding quarter reported a loss of RM26.58 million. This was mainly due to revenue achieved; foreign exchange gain; revaluation on fair value through profit or loss investments; share of the associates’ financial results was a profit.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue of RM4.27 million was slightly lower than the immediate preceding quarter’s RM4.59 million despite higher crop sales on account of higher FFB prices. This was mainly due to the receipt of dividend income of RM429,000 during the immediate preceding quarter while there was none for the current quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group posted a pre-tax profit of RM11.07 million for the current quarter as compared to the immediate preceding quarter’s pre-tax loss of RM6.47 million. This was mainly due to foreign exchange difference was a gain of RM3.60 million; Share of the associates’ financial results was a gain of RM4.16 million; Revaluation on its fair value through profit or loss investments was a gain of RM4.16 million.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2019, the directors’ remuneration was 2.68 million. It was slightly high compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 3.4 million and auditor’s remuneration of 177 thousands
