The Group’s revenue of RM62.67 million for the current financial year ended 30 June 2024 was higher than last year’s RM50.40 million. This was mainly due to higher crop sales on account of higher tonnage harvested. Rental, interest and dividend income were also higher as compared to a year ago. The Group ended the current financial year with after tax profit of RM40.50 million which was lower than last year’s after tax profit of RM43.05 million despite higher revenue. This was mainly due to lower foreign exchange gain, no sale of investment in precious metal in the current year and lower gain from the revaluation of investment properties. Going forward, the Group expects Fresh Fruit Bunches (“FFB”) production to be higher than the financial year ended 30 June 2024.
