BURSA MALAYSIA –
The PAT for the quarter is RM3.585 million compared to RM1.556 million PAT reported in the preceding quarter. The results of the quarter has improved was mainly due to the provision of impairment losses of RM1.785 million in preceding quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The PAT for the quarter is RM1.556 million compared to RM3.462 million LAT reported in the preceding quarter. The results of the quarter has improved was mainly due to the gain on disposal of OAS of RM6.714million recorded in current quarter.

The LAT for the quarter is RM3.462 million compared to RM2.859 million LAT reported in the preceding quarter. The higher loss of the quarter was mainly due to the increased unrealized foreign exchange losses on foreign currency denominated term loan.

The LAT for the quarter is RM2.859 million compared to RM2.646 million LAT reported in the preceding quarter. The higher loss of the quarter was due to the increased human resource costs of the current quarter from RM1.646 million to RM1.781 million as a result of partial school resumptions from November 2021.

The LAT for the quarter is RM2.646 million compared to RM3.114 million LAT reported in the preceding quarter. The result of the quarter has improved compared to the preceding quarter is mainly due to savings in human resource costs and depreciation/amortization costs.

The LAT for the quarter is RM3.114 million compared to RM4.792 million LAT reported in the previous quarter. The result of the quarter has improved compared to the immediate preceding quarter due to decrease in human resource costs and administrative fee for Redeemable Convertible Preference Shares subscriptions.

The LAT for the quarter is RM11.502 million compared to RM1.251 million LAT reported in the previous quarter. The lower result of the quarter was due to impairment of goodwill of RM2.818 million, withholding tax expenses of RM1.309 million, intangible assets written off of RM1.094 million, higher professional fees pertaining to RCPS and higher expenses for STEM learning centre. Further the one-off saving from waiver of bank borrowings of RM2.502 million was recorded in previous quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The result of the quarter has slightly improved compared to the immediate preceding quarter due to the increase in sale of goods. The LAT for the quarter is RM5.230 million compared to RM5.546 million LAT reported in the previous quarter.

Amid the spike in retail participation in Bursa Malaysia, there is one eye-catching trend In which investors concentrating on penny counters, even if these companies have largely underperformed historically. Investors were looking to ride the global tech rally. The tech fever also spread to Eduspec Holdings Bhd, which provides IT literacy materials for primary and secondary schools
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The result of the quarter has improved compared to the immediate preceding quarter due to provision of RM49 million which is contributed by impairments of goodwill, other investments and receivables which more than 365 days old adjusted in immediate preceding quarter. The loss after tax for the quarter is RM5.546 million compared to RM54.425 million loss after tax reported in the previous quarter.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 1.3.2019 – 29.2.2020, the directors’ remuneration was 0.84 million. It was slightly low compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 10 million and auditor’s remuneration of 336 thousands
INVESTING MALAYSIA –
EDUSPEC (16 DEC 19) Eduspec Holdings Bhd has entered into a collaboration agreement with Matlamat Wawasan Sdn Bhd (MWSB) for the implementation of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) programs with Computer Science for primary schools and with Robotics for secondary schools under the Ministry of Education (MoE).
