    The Group recorded an annualised LAT of RM8.1 million for the 18-month FPE 30 September 2023 as compared to a PAT of RM59.8 million for the FYE 31 March 2022. The LAT recorded was mainly due to lower annualised GP, lower other income, higher annualised administrative expense due to higher staff cost and depreciation expenses, as well as a higher other operating expenses.The Group believes that investment in digitalisation will lead to faster turnaround times to customers. By monitoring industry trends and technological advancements and investing in new technology, the Group believes this will enable it to remain competitive. Further, the Group also constantly review its operations and adopt more efficient processes to improve its financial performance and enhance shareholder value.

    2, the Group recorded revenue of RM8.08 million and Profit before tax of RM0.48 million as compared to revenue of RM6.54 million and loss before tax of RM1.18 million registered in the immediate preceding quarter ended 30 September 2022. The profit before tax reported in the current quarter by RM0.48 million was mainly due to secured service order from IT services, increase of interest income of RM0.35 million and save of trade event expenses of RM0.44 million which incurred in immediate preceding quarter.

The improvement in revenue was mainly due to higher revenue reported by our flexible packaging business segment. The loss before tax reported in the current quarter was mainly due to increase in labour costs, trade event expenses, upkeep of factory and upkeep of plant & machinery.
