BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded an operating revenue of RM1.40 billion for the quarter under review, a decrease of 5.4% or RM80.6 million as compared to the preceding quarter ended 31 March 2020 of RM1.48 billion. This is due mainly to lower gross earned premiums in the current quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a profit before tax of RM91.9 million for the quarter under review, a decrease of 51.2% or RM96.3 million as compared to the preceding quarter ended 31 December 2019 of RM188.2 million. It was due mainly to higher claims and lower reinsurance profit commission income as compared to preceding
quarter, lower valuation on investment in the current quarter and annual actuarial surplus transfer in the fourth quarter of 2019 and higher management expenses in the current quarter.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2019, the directors’ remuneration was 13.56 million. It was fair compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 271.8 million and auditor’s remuneration of 794 thousands
