BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue for the current quarter under review declined significantly by 70.9% to RM272.2 million against RM933.8 million in the immediate preceding quarter mainly due to significant contraction in passengers traffic of 94.5% resulted from the global impact of COVID-19 pandemic and prolonged MCO period in Malaysia and other countries.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2019, the directors’ remuneration was 3.57 million. It was low compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 920 million and auditor’s remuneration of 894 thousands
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a LBT of RM35.5 million in the current quarter, lower by RM81.6 million as compared to the PBT of RM46.1 million recorded in the preceding quarter due to lower revenue by 30.5% despite of lower cost by 23.3%. The lower cost was due to decrease in operating cost, user fee, depreciation and amortisation.

AIRPORT 22 JAN 20 – The Malaysian Aviation Commission (Mavcom) has imposed financial penalties on AirAsia Group Bhd, AirAsia X Bhd (AAX) and Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) subsidiary Malaysia Airports (Sepang) Sdn Bhd (MA Sepang), which manages the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and klia2.
